Who we are
eyelovesleep (eyelovesleep.com) is a free website with sleep calculators and articles about sleep. In this policy, "we" and "us" mean the operator of the site. You can reach us at hello@eyelovesleep.com.
What we don't collect
There are no accounts, sign-ups or forms that send data to us. Everything you type into the sleep calculator, the blood pressure and sleep calculator and the jet lag calculator is processed in your browser and is not sent to our servers, our statistics provider or our advertising partner.
Data stored on your device
The Tonight page lets you log nights of sleep. Those entries, your bedtime settings and any wind-down in progress are saved in your browser's local storage on your own device. We can't see them, and they are not shared with anyone. You can delete individual nights on the page, or remove everything by clearing this site's data in your browser settings.
Hosting and server logs
The site is hosted on Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical information when your browser requests a page, such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Visitor statistics
We use Histats to count visits and see which pages are popular. Histats uses cookies and collects standard technical information such as your IP address, browser, device type, the pages you view and the site that referred you. We use these statistics only in aggregate to improve the site; they don't tell us who you are. Histats processes this data under its own privacy policy, available on its website. You can block or delete its cookies in your browser settings.
Advertising and cookies
We use Google AdSense to show ads, which keeps the site free. Google and its partners use cookies and similar technologies to serve and measure ads:
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
- You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info.
If you opt out, you will still see ads, but they won't be based on your browsing. For more detail, see how Google uses information from sites that use its services and how Google uses cookies in advertising.
Your consent in the EEA, UK and Switzerland
If you visit from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, you'll be asked for consent before personalized ads or advertising cookies are used. This consent message is provided by Google. You can change your choice at any time from the privacy link it adds to the page.
Health information
Some calculators ask about health, such as blood pressure readings or snoring. These answers stay in your browser and are not stored or transmitted by us. Ads are not targeted using anything you enter into the calculators.
Children
This site is intended for adults and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your rights
Because we don't hold personal data about you on our own systems, there is usually nothing for us to access, correct or delete. For data held by Google in connection with ads, use Google's privacy controls. If you have a question or request, email us and we'll help.
Changes to this policy
If we change how the site handles data, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
